20 mins intro call
This is an opportunity for you to throw your ideas, challenges and goals my way.
I ask you questions, we get for a feel for each other, discuss ball parks, and if we’re a good fit I’ll draw up a proposal for you.
Proposal + invoice
In my proposal I’ll include the scope of work, and complete costs (now we’re clear about what the project looks like).
On your green light, I’ll then draw up the commencement invoice to kick-off the project.
Kick-off call + briefing
We’ll put a chunk of time aside (depending on the project size) to go over the deliverables and get clear about what your copywriting needs to achieve.
The copywriting brief is our guiding compass for everything to come.
Writing + revisions
First drafts will be delivered to our agreed timescales and with edits included, there’s plenty of oppportunity to get the words exactly where we need them to be.
On second draft sign-off, I’ll proofread and draw up the final invoice.
Final copies
Final copies will be emailed to you, and once the final invoice has cleared, the copy is all yours to use.

What can I expect working with a copywriter?
Each copywriter has their own process but if you’ve never worked with one before, mine is really straightforward.
I’m very open and honest and will always give you my best advice and recommendations with the information we’re working with. If you want to pick up a few things that you can implement going forward, I’m always happy to give you my best tips and tricks too.

From start to finish, every meeting and touch point is an opportunity for open communication and it’s important to engage in the full process for the best outcomes – particularly in the initial kick-off call meeting, copy review and feedback stages.
Structured
Often I can be managing multiple clients simultaneously, so sticking to the agreed timeframes is really crucial to keeping your project on track. It also helps avoid running into time allocated for other clients.
Committed
Never half ass anything. Always use your full ass – 100%. This is my mantra in life and in business. I’ll never send you anything I wouldn’t be proud to put my name to.
Do I need a brand voice / tone / style guide before we can work together?
If you have them, great!
But no, you don’t need to have them. We’ll spend some time in the briefing going over details like these to make sure we capture every brand detail.
Do you offer a service guarantee?
Absolutely!
The service guarantee ensures:
- On-time delivery
- Revisions within our agreed timeframes (as specified in the proposal)
What it doesn’t include:
- Refund of commencement fee for a change of mind at any point once we’ve started working on your project
- Nor does it cancel final payment if feedback is not provided on the request of copy revisions
