1. Get in touch
First step, fill out the details in the contact form and include a little bit about your business, project and expected delivery timeframes. I can then do a little background work before our intro call.
2. Intro call
Phone call or video call – whatever you prefer. This is a great opportunity to discuss details, get a feel for a feel for each other, discuss ball parks (and if we’re a good fit I’ll draw up a quote for you).
3. Quote
I’ll include the scope of work we discussed, and exact costs. (For bespoke projects I quote on a project-by project basis.) On your green light, I’ll then draw up the first invoice to kick-start the project.
4. Briefing call
The most important part of the entire process! Depending on the project size 1-2hrs usually covers it. I’ll send you a brand questionnaire in advance, and we’ll get clear about deliverables and your goals on the call.
5. Turnaround
First drafts will be delivered to our agreed timescales (including any edits). Two rounds of edits are included in every project (if we need them). Plenty of opportunity to get the words exactly where we need them to be.
6. Delivery
The final copy deck will be emailed to you in G-doc or Word-Doc format (your preference) with the final invoice and a short testimonials form. Once the final invoice has cleared, the copy’s all yours to publish!

If you're new to my industry, how can you write for my business?
Great question!
There are many stages to the writing process and regardless of whether I’m familiar or not with your area, the process is the same. It looks something like this:
Research + strategy + messaging + writing + editing = final copy
I first begin by getting to know:
- you and your business
- your objectives and goals
- your customers and clients
- the market and your competitors
And then my job as a copywriter is to convey your message to your clients / customers in a way that they understand your business and the value of what you offer.
I’ve written for a broad range of happy clients across a range of industries and business sectors. If your project needs words, I can write them.
Can you guarantee to get me on page one of Google?
The simple answer: no.
While everything I write is guided by SEO best practice, there are lots of other things (other than copy) that can affect your Google rankings.
Design, load speed, user experience, the way your website is structured on the back end all have a bearing on Google’s mystical ability to push you up or down the rankings.
What I can guarantee is:

My copywriting service guarantee ensures:
- On-time delivery
- Up to two rounds of revisions to the first draft, within agreed timeframes (as specified in the proposal)
What it doesn’t include:
- Refund of commencement fee for a change of mind at any point once we’ve started working on your project
- Neither does it cancel final payment if feedback is not provided on the request of copy revisions
