WHY I DITCHED BUSINESS AS USUAL
And never looked back
I quit playing it safe in search of something that set my soul on fire ~ like so many of the founders I work with. For me that meant leaving behind my corporate marketing life in the Big Smoke and disappearing across Asia-Pacific on a solo motorbike adventure of a lifetime. For an outdoors thrill-seeker like me, you can’t really top that. But actually what I gained was much more.
…A deeper connection with the environments, cultures, and people whose livelihoods are interwoven with them. And an unfiltered view of how ‘business as usual’ negatively impacts those same communities. It changed my whole outlook on life.
I wanted to become part of the solution and less of the problem. So I niched down and launched Copy By Kudo to support startups and causes that deserved their voices amplifying.
Those whose purpose is either focused on improving life for people, customers, communities, and society. And planet ~ those taking responsibility for their environmental footprint and making money as a driving force for good.
I do what I can to reduce my own footprint, lend my skills on pro-bono projects, and I champion social causes where I feel I can make some difference. Real change starts small. What better place to start?
